Ms. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker with a dual-language and multicultural background. She worked with various groups, such as LGBTQ+ and those with substance addiction issues. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and prenatal women, specializes in trauma-informed care and offers an EMDR treatment for adults. She also offers both groups and individual therapy, treatment with medication and referrals for specialist care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society, helping homeless animals find forever new homes. She is a firm believer in the slogan from Best Friends, "Save Them Everyone" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed.
